 PSLV-C51, the primary dedicated launch for NSIL, with success launches Amazonia-1 and eighteen Co-passenger satellites

India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C51 with success launched Amazonia-1 beside eighteen co-passenger satellites these days (February twenty eight, 2021) from Satish Dhawan house Centre SHAR, Sriharikota.

PSLV-C51 upraised aloof from the primary Launch Pad of SDSC SHAR at 10:24 hours (IST) as planned. once a flight of concerning seventeen minutes twenty three seconds, the vehicle injected the Amazonia-1 into its meant orbit and within the succeeding one hour thirty eight minutes, all the eighteen co-passenger satellites with success separated from the PSLV in an exceedingly preset sequence.

Amazonia-1 is that the optical earth observation satellite of National Institute for house analysis (INPE). This satellite would any strengthen the prevailing structure by providing remote sensing knowledge to users for observation deforestation within the Amazon region and analysis of diversified  agriculture across the Brazilian territory.

PSLV-C51/Amazonia-1 is that the 1st dedicated industrial mission of NewSpace Republic of India restricted (NSIL), a Government of Republic of India company beneath Department of house.

The eighteen co-passenger satellites aboard PSLV-C51 includes four from IN-SPACe and fourteen from NSIL. Out of four satellites from IN-SPACe, 3 were UNITYsats designed and designed as a joint development by Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, Sriperumbudur (JITsat), G.H.Raisoni faculty of Engineering, Nagpur (GHRCEsat) and Sri Shakti Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore and one was Satish Dhawan Sat (SDSAT). The fourteen satellites from NSIL carried were the industrial satellites from Republic of India (1) and USA (13).
