Amazing tips for Travel Photography
Use natural light :
When shooting landscapes, try to use natural light whenever possible. If you have to shoot at night, make sure you have a tripod and use a remote shutter release. Try not to use flash if you can help it. You want to capture the landscape without any artificial lighting.
Shoot early in the morning :
Shoot landscapes during sunrise and sunset. These times of day offer beautiful colors and contrast between the sky and land. Shooting landscapes during these times of day will give you the best chance of capturing great images.
Avoid using filters :
Filters can cause unwanted color casts and may change the look of the image. Instead, use a neutral density filter to reduce the amount of light entering the lens.
Use a wide-angle lens :
A wide-angle lens gives you a larger view of the scene than a standard lens. A wider angle lets you get closer to the subject and capture more detail.
Zoom in :
Zooming in tight on your subject will allow you to capture more details.
Take lots of pictures :
Take many pictures of the same area. This way, you can compare them later and pick out the best ones.
Keep your camera steady :
If you're taking pictures handheld, keep your camera steady. Otherwise, use a tripod.
